"Set in an office, the Not My Type series explores the various relationships within. While avoiding the use of language and dialogue, Not My Type, takes various typographic faces, symbols and characters and then duplicates, distorts and moves them to create a simple, stylistic production. The Not My Type series continues to be created for online viewing and distribution.
The Not My Type series of Flash animations were created by the Melbourne design team Mark & John Lycette. Each of their film narratives reveal their stories through framing and audio effects ? without having to resort to complex screen action and character dialogue."
